    2. CAUTION

      THIS PROCESS IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE 3-8 OR 9-12 HP DRUMS.
      ALL BLADES/AIRFOILS APPLICATIONS REQUIRE SPECIFIC APPROVAL FROM INTERNATIONAL AERO ENGINES AG.

      High pressure water can be used to strip plasma, metalspray and thermal barrier coatings from nickel, steel, titanium and aluminum base materials.

    3. This process may be used to remove the above coatings when the engine manual allows either abrasive blasting singularly or as part of the chemical strip process, or abrasive blasting as a surface preparation before coating reapplication.

    4. This process may be used on other parts, when specified in the engine manual.
