Procedure
The solution is an aqueous one containing:
CoMat 01-025 NITRIC ACID HNO3, TECHNICAL GRADE SG 1.42 - 40 to 67 oz/gal (300 to 500 g/l).
CoMat 01-219 ACID ADDITION AGENT - 1 ml/litre (optional).
Composition of the solution.
Carefully add, whilst constantly stirring, 5 volumes of CoMat 01-025 NITRIC ACID HNO3, TECHNICAL GRADE to 5 volumes of cold water. Finally, add 1 ml of CoMat 01-219 ACID ADDITION AGENTfor each litre of solution.
The solution may be controlled by analysis, refer to the SPM TASK 70-33-89-200-502, and maintained by suitable additions or renewed when it ceases to be efficient.
