Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 70-64-00-640-001 General Information - Lubrication

    1. Unless specified differently, all mating surfaces that rub together during a torque procedure (that is, the screw threads and bearing surfaces of the mating fasteners) must be lubricated.

    2. For assembly always use clean CoMat 10-077 APPROVED ENGINE OILS unless an anti-galling compound is specified in EM or MM.

    3. Do not apply engine oil and anti-galling compound to the same mating surfaces, unless specified differently.

    2. SUBTASK 70-64-00-640-002 General Information - Penetrating Oils

    1. To make disassembly of bolts, nuts and snap fits much easier, use CoMat 10-058 PENETRATING OIL.
