Use portable grinding equipment.
Dress until all damage is removed.
Dress to remove damage.
Refer to Figure.
Use CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE abrasive paper and CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501
Blend dressed area.
SUBTASK 30-21-49-350-051 Blend the Damaged Surface of the Bracket (01-045)
If the blended area is more than the blend limit given in Figure, reject the bracket.
Examine the repaired area of bracket.
Refer to Inspection/Check-000 TASK 30-21-49-200-400.
Use 8X magnifying glass.
Visually examine the bracket.
