Remove the lacing tape adjacent to the chafed area. Refer to Figure.
Remove the harness cable ties
SUBTASK 71-51-41-350-060 Remove the Harness Cable Ties
Wrap CoMat 02-148 ADHESIVE TAPE (ELECTRICAL) around the cable and chafed area of the cable jacket.
Make an overlap of tape approximately 1.0 in. (25 mm) on each side of the repair area.
Repair the chafed jacket
SUBTASK 71-51-41-350-061 Repair the Chafed Jacket
Use the applicable color lacing tape to lace the ties.
The lacing positions are the same as the previous positions. Refer to Figure.
Install the harness cable ties
