Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 71-51-44-350-051 Remove the Harness Cable Ties

      1. Remove the harness cable ties

      1. Remove the lacing tape adjacent to the chafed area. Refer to Figure.

    2. SUBTASK 71-51-44-350-052 Repair the Chafed Jacket

      1. Repair the chafed jacket

      1. Wrap CoMat 02-148 ADHESIVE TAPE (ELECTRICAL) around the cable and chafed area of the cable jacket.

      2. Make an overlap of tape approximately 1.0 in. (25 mm) on each side of the repair area.

    3. SUBTASK 71-51-44-350-053 Install the Harness Cable Ties

      1. Install the harness cable ties

      1. Use the applicable color lacing tape to lace the ties.

      2. The lacing positions are the same as the previous positions. Refer to Figure.
