Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-350-051 Remove the Spot Tie

    2. CAUTION

      DO NOT CUT THE CABLE.

      Cut off and remove the spot ties from damaged area.

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-350-052 Wind up the Teflon Tape

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. If necessary neatly restrand exposed screen braid.

      1. Wind up the teflon tape

      2. NOTE

        Extend approximately 1 in. longer, either side of the damaged area.
    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-350-053 Attach Spot Tie

    2. Refer to Figure.

      1. Attach spot tie

      2. Use lacing tape.
