Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-750-056 Do the Continuity Test between the Terminal Lugs D and A1 of the Voltage Divider Harness Assembly

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Connect the Lamp and battery teter - 4.5 volts DC to the contact at the ends of each wire in turn.

    4. Make sure the lamp comes on which shows continuity.

    5. Reject the cable, if the lamp does not come on. This shows no continuity.

    6. Lightly bend or pull the cable.

    7. Reject the cable, if the lamp goes off.

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-750-057 Do the Continuity Test between the Terminal Lugs D and B1 of the Voltage Divider Harness Assembly

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-750-058 Do the Insulation Resistance Test between the Terminal Lugs D and A1 of the Voltage Divider Harness Assembly

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Connect a Multimeter across the terminal lugs D and A1 of the voltage divider harness assembly.

    4. Measure the insulation resistance.

    5. The resistance must be in between 7425 and 7575 ohms.

    6. If the resistance is not in between 7425 and 7575 ohms, replace the voltage divider harness assembly.

    7. Disconnect the Multimeter from the terminal lugs D and A1 of the voltage divider harness assembly.

    1. SUBTASK 71-52-43-750-059 Do the Insulation Resistance Test between the Terminal Lugs D and B1 of the Voltage Divider Harness Assembly

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Connect a Multimeter across the terminal lugs D and B1 of the voltage divider harness assembly.

    4. Measure the insulation resistance.

    5. The resistance must be in between 3564 and 3636 ohms.

    6. If the resistance is not in between 3564 and 3636 ohms, replace the voltage divider harness assembly.

    7. Disconnect the Multimeter from the terminal lugs D and B1 of the voltage divider harness assembly.
