Use a knife.

CAUTION
DO NOT CUT THE CABLE.Remove the damaged sleeve marker and sleeve.
SUBTASK 71-52-44-350-051 Remove the Damaged Sleeve Marker and Sleeve
Refer to Figure.
Use a Hot marker and CoMat 02-197 COLOR FOIL.
Write the connector code for connector and/or terminal.
Trim the heat shrinkable tube and write the identification code.
Install the heat shrinkable tube on the cable.
Use a Hot air gun.
Set to deliver air between 480 and 570 deg F (250 and 300 deg C).
Heat the heat shrinkable tube.
SUBTASK 71-52-44-350-052 Install the Connector and Terminal Identification Marker for the Cable Identification
Refer to Figure.
Use a die or suitable engraving equipment.
Write the harness assembly Part No. and Serial No. for identification.
Write the identification code
Use a pincer to install the sleeve within approximately 2 in. (50 mm) of connector 4006VC ensuring adequate clearance with adjacent clipping point (C5554).
Install the I/band
