TASK 71-73-48-100-105 ACOC Actuator Drain (Upper) Tube - Clean, Cleaning-005
General
This TASK gives the procedure to clean the ACOC actuator drain tube (03-100). For the other oil, hydraulic and water drain tubes, refer to Cleaning-000 TASK 71-73-48-100-100.
Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

Remove the adhesive marking tape from the tube.
Flush the tube with the cleaning agent.
Clean the internal surface of the tube.
Wipe the external surface of the tube.
Make sure all dirt and unwanted material is removed from the threads and the nut retaining ring. Do not touch the seal faces after cleaning.
Clean the end fittings of the tube.
Use clean dry compressed air.
Remove the cleaning agent and make the tube dry.
