TASK 72-00-32-050-014 LPC/Intermediate Case Module Components - Remove The T2.5 Thermocouple, Removal-012
General
This TASK gives the procedure to remove the T2.5 thermocouple.
Fig./item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig./item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha-variants refer to the IPC.
For all parts identified in a different Chapter/Section/Subject, the applicable Chapter/Section/Subject comes before the item number.
Apply the approved CoMat 10-058 PENETRATING OIL before the removal of threaded parts. Let the parts soak before removal.
Seal all openings when the components are disconnected to prevent contamination from unwanted material.

Remove the two nuts EEC Core Harness And Voltage Divider Harness Assembly (71-52-43, 01-015) and EEC Core Harness And Voltage Divider Harness Assembly (71-52-43, 01-017) that attach the T2.5 thermocouple leads to the terminal block. Remove the T2.5 thermocouple leads from the terminal block. Refer to the view at A.
Remove the bolt Fan Frame Assembly And Related Parts (72-32-03, 01-510) that attaches the earth lead to the bracket Fan Frame Assembly And Related Parts (72-32-03, 01-495). Remove the earth lead from the bracket.
Remove the bolt Fan Frame Assembly And Related Parts (72-32-03, 01-510) that attaches the bracket Fan Frame Assembly And Related Parts (72-32-03, 01-495) to the terminal block Fan Frame Assembly And Related Parts (72-32-03, 01-500). Remove the terminal block from the intermediate structure.
