TASK 72-00-32-050-020 LPC/Intermediate Case Module Components - Remove The Fuel Filter Element 2000EM, Removal-027
General
This TASK gives the procedure to remove the fuel filter element from the fuel cooled oil cooler (FCOC).
Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha-variants refer to the IPC.
For all parts identified in a different Chapter/Section/Subject, the applicable Chapter/Section/Subject comes before the item numbers.
Discard all rubber seal rings removed in this procedure.
Remove and discard the lockwire before parts are disconnected or removed.
The engine must be isolated from starting air supply, fuel supply and electrical power source while you do this procedure.

WARNING
DO NOT LET ENGINE FUEL STAY ON YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. FLUSH THE FUEL FROM YOUR SKIN WITH WATER. THE FUEL IS POISONOUS AND CAN BE ABSORBED IN TO YOUR BODY.
CAUTION
DO NOT LET ENGINE FUEL FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED FUEL MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT FREE CLOTH. THE FUEL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.
CAUTION
DO NOT PUT FUEL THAT HAS BEEN DRAINED FROM THE ENGINE BACK IN TO THE FUEL SYSTEM.Cut and discard the lockwire that is used to safety the fuel drain plug to the fuel plug.
NOTE
Do not cut the lockwire that is used to safety the fuel plug to the cap of the FCOC.
