Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-05-240-051 Demagnetize and Check for Residual Magnetism

      1. Demagnetize.

      1. Demagnetize the bearing at a rate not to exceed 12 feet per minute.

      2. Make sure the residual magnetism is less than 5 gauss.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-05-110-052 Remove the Dirt and Dust

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-05-620-051 Apply the Protective Oil

    2. Drain the oil.

      3. Wrap.

      1. Use clean polythene or flexible grease proof sheet.
