Use light pressure to prevent any risk of over heating the material.
Use abrasive stone or CoMat 05-019 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE, CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and/or the fine file.
Surface finish of the repair area must be the same as the adjacent area.

CAUTION
TITANIUM COMPONENT - YOU MUST USE SILICON CARBIDE TYPE ABRASIVE WHEELS, STONES AND PAPERS TO DRESS, BLEND AND POLISH THIS COMPONENT.TITANIUM COMPONENT - DO NOT USE FORCE WITH MECHANICAL CUTTERS OR THE MATERIAL WILL BECOME TOO HOT.TITANIUM COMPONENT - IF THE MATERIAL SHOWS A CHANGE IN COLOR, TO DARKER THAN A LIGHT STRAW COLOR, THE COMPONENT IS TO BE REJECTED.Scallop, make smooth and/or hand polish to remove the galls, the burrs and/or the scores.
SUBTASK 72-32-16-350-059 Remove the Damage from the Gearshaft Bearing Housing Assembly
Visually examine the repaired area for nicks, scratches and/or galls using 10X magnifying glass.
Refer to TASK 72-32-16-200-000 (INSPECTION-000) for the applicable Inspection TASK.
Visually examine the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-32-16-220-088 Visually Examine the Gearshaft Bearing Housing Assembly
Make sure there are no cracks in the repaired area.
Refer to TASK 72-32-16-200-000 (INSPECTION-000) for the applicable Inspection TASK.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501.
Use fluorescent penetrant inspection equipment.
Fluorescent penetrant examine the repaired area.
