General

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agreed with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

Remove and discard the lockwire before parts are disconnected or removed.

Discard all rubber seal rings, cotter pins and seal washers removed in this procedure.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-25-040-051 Disassemble the No. 3 Bearing Seal Assembly

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove the No. 3 bearing seal assembly from the container.

    3. Put the seal assembly with the flange of the seal ring holder down on the bench.

    4. Remove the split rivets which hold the collars to the pins and discard them.

    5. Remove the collars from the pins.

    6. Remove the No. 3 bearing face seal assembly from the seal ring holder.

    7. Remove the seal ring from seal ring holder.

    8. Remove the springs from the seal ring holder.

    9. Remove the sleeve spacers from the pins.
