Refer to TASK 72-32-26-100-000 (CLEANING-000).
Remove dry film lubricant from the buttress threads if necessary.
SUBTASK 72-32-26-110-056 Remove the Dry Film Lubricant
Refer to Figure.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.
Remove the grease.
Apply the masking tape to the areas which are not to be given a layer of dry film lubricant.
Use CoMat 02-019 TAPE, ADHESIVE PAPER HEAT RESISTING MASKING or CoMat 02-002 ADHESIVE TAPE GENERALPURPOSE PAPER.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
Apply the masking tape.
Apply the dry film lubricant to buttress threads of No. 3 bearing nut.
The thickness of dry film lubricant is to be 0.00012 in. to 0.00059 in. (0.003 mm to 0.015 mm).
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
Apply the dry film lubricant.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
Examine the layer of dry film lubricant.
