Refer to Figure.
Inspect and identify defective locating pin
Use hand tools
Press out defective locating pin
Remove burrs.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Examine for damage in bore
Ensure correct interference.
Dimensionally inspect the pin hole.
SUBTASK 72-32-36-350-062 Remove the Defective Locating Pin from Main Oil Distributor Assembly
Make sure there are no cracks in the pin hole.
Refer SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501.
Fluorescent penetrant examine the pin hole.
SUBTASK 72-32-36-230-079 Examine the Main Oil Distributor
Use clean dry air blast or CoMat 02-099 LINT-FREE CLOTH.
Clean the locating pin and the pin hole
Freeze the locating pin to aid replacement into the pin hole.
Freeze the locating pin
Use hand tools.
Refer to Figure.
Install and press the locating pin into the pin hole
SUBTASK 72-32-36-350-063 Install the New Locating Pin
Pin shoulder must be located against flange face.

Visually examine the pin seating
