Use Hand held pneumatic grinder and abrasive stone or CoMat 05-019 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE, CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE, CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and/or fine file.
Surface finish of the repair must be the same as the adjacent area. Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Blend, make smooth and/or hand polish to remove the nicks and scratches using a blend ratio of 50:1
SUBTASK 72-32-42-350-053 Remove the Damage from the Strainer Housing
Visually examine the repaired area for nicks and scratches.
Refer to Inspection-003 TASK 72-32-42-200-403.
Visually examine the repaired area.

No cracks are permitted.

Fluorescent penetrant examine the repaired area.
