Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-51-350-073 Dress to Remove Damage

      1. Dress to remove damage.

      1. Use portable grinding equipment.

      2. Dress until all damage is removed.

      2. Blend the dressed area, polish out scores.

      1. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.

      2. The maximum blend limit is 0.005 in. (0.12 mm) in depth.

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-51-220-157 Examine the Nut Ring

      1. Do a visual inspection.

      1. Visually examine the repaired area for nicks, scratches and/or damage.

      2. Use 10X magnifying glass.
