Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-32-53-350-062 Remove Damaged or Loose Pins from the No. 1 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Remove damaged or loose pins with a drill and a punch, (up to four locations).

    2. SUBTASK 72-32-53-220-094 Visually Inspect Pin Holes for Damage on the No. 1 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly

    1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Visually inspect pin holes for damage.

    3. SUBTASK 72-32-53-350-063 Install Replacement Pins to the No. 1 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly

      1. Install the seal ring holder into the IAE 3P16425 Support base 1 off.

      1. Refer to Figure.

    2. Put the replacement pin into the IAE 3P16424 Drift 1 off and chill.

    3. Use mallet and the drift to install the chilled replacement pin into the seal ring holder.

    4. Invert the seal ring holder while on the support base.

      5. Use applicable tools to peen the end of the pin to make a head.

    4. SUBTASK 72-32-53-220-095 Examine the Repair No. 1 Bearing Seal Ring Holder Assembly

      1. Do an inspection of the repaired seal.
