Safety Requirements

Refer to Figure.
Examine and identify the defective sleeve bearing.
Refer to Figure.
Use an Arbor Press and a 0.60 in. (15.24 mm) diameter pin.
Press out the defective sleeve bearing.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Scratches are permitted but remove the burrs.
Examine for damage in the bores.
Refer to Figure.
Ensure the correct diameter.
Dimensionally examine the hole of the power arm.
SUBTASK 72-32-71-350-066 Remove the Defective Sleeve Bearing from the Power Arm Assembly
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501.
Make sure there is no cracks in the hole.
Fluorescent penetrant examine the sleeve bearing hole.
SUBTASK 72-32-71-230-066 Examine the Power Arm Assembly for Cracks
Refer to Figure.
Use an Arbor Press.
Install and press the sleeve bearing into the hole of the power arm.
