This Repair scheme gives the procedure for blending of the surfaces and bolt holes on the LP compressor STG 2.5 vanes.
The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK number are in the SPM.
NOTE
To identify the consumable materials refer to the PCI.
Other consumable materials are given in the SPM TASKS70-38-02-300-503 and 70-23-05-230-501.

Use portable grinding equipment.
Maximum blend limit is 0.005 in. (0.13 mm) in depth.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Refer to Figure.
Dress to remove nicks or scores on outer surface, platform, inner surface and bolt holes.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Surface finish must be the same as that of the adjacent undressed area.
Blend dressed area and polish out scores.

Clean the dressed area.
