The surface finish of the repair must be the same as the adjacent area.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Use abrasive stone or CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE and/or fine file.

CAUTION
TITANIUM COMPONENT - YOU MUST USE SILICON CARBIDE TYPE ABRASIVE WHEELS, STONES AND PAPERS TO DRESS, BLEND AND POLISH THIS COMPONENT.
CAUTION
TITANIUM COMPONENT - DO NOT USE FORCE WITH MECHANICAL CUTTERS OR THE MATERIAL WILL BECOME TOO HOT.
CAUTION
TITANIUM COMPONENT - IF THE MATERIAL SHOWS A CHANGE IN COLOUR, TO DARKER THAN A LIGHT STRAW COLOUR, THE COMPONENT IS TO BE REJECTED.Make smooth and/or hand polish to remove the nicks, galls and/or scores.
SUBTASK 72-32-94-350-052 Remove the Nicks, Galls, Scores and/or Pick-up from the Tube Surface and the Tube End Fittings
Use a 10X magnifying glass.
Refer to TASK 72-32-94-200-000 (INSPECTION-000).
Visually examine the repaired area for nicks, galls, scores and/or pick-up.
