Use portable grinding equipment, abrasive stones or paper and/or fine file.

CAUTION
WHEELS, STONES AND ABRASIVE PAPERS USED TO DRESS, MAKE SMOOTH, OR POLISH A TITANIUM COMPONENT MUST BE OF THE SILICON CARBIDE TYPE. ALUMINUM OXIDE TYPES MUST NOT BE USED.
CAUTION
IF MECHANICAL CUTTERS ARE USED, ONLY SMALL CUTS MUST BE MADE TO PREVENT TOO MUCH HEAT.Dress/make smooth and/or hand polish to remove burrs, nicks, dents and/or scratches.
SUBTASK 72-38-11-350-051 Remove the Damage from the Inlet Cone Fairing
Refer to TASK 72-38-11-200-000 (INSPECTION-000).
Visually examine the repaired area.
SUBTASK 72-38-11-220-073 Examine the Inlet Cone Fairing
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501.
Make sure there is no crack in the repaired area.
Fluorescent penetrant examine the repaired area.
