Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-40-00-350-054 Blend the Damaged Surface of the Brackets (01-182, 05-140, 05-160, 05-180, 05-250, 05-270, 05-380, 05-400, 05-420, 05-440 and 05-460), Rod Bracket (01-790) and ACC Valve Bracket (05-500) and (05-570)

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Dress to remove damage.

      1. Use portable grinding equipment.

      2. Dress until all damage is removed.

    2. SUBTASK 72-40-00-220-111 Examine the Brackets (01-182, 05-140, 05-160, 05-180, 05-250, 05-270, 05-380, 05-400, 05-420, 05-440 and 05-460), Rod Bracket (01-790) and ACC Valve Bracket (05-500) and (05-570), Rod Bracket (01-790) and ACC Valve Bracket (05-500) and (05-570)

    1. Refer to Figure.

      2. Examine the repaired area of brackets, rod bracket and ACC valve bracket.

      1. If the blended area exceeds the blend limit given in Figure, reject the brackets, rod bracket and ACC valve bracket.

      3. Visually examine the brackets, rod bracket and ACC valve bracket.

      2. Use 8X magnifying glass.
