All four coated areas must be stripped.
Use the procedure given in the SPM TASK 70-38-24-300-503.
Apply a mask to the disk surfaces that are not to be grit blasted.
SUBTASK 72-41-12-350-056 Apply a Mask to the Rear HPC Disc Assembly
Do the procedure given in the SPM TASK 70-12-09-120-501 except use CoMat 05-038 SILICON CARBIDE ABRASIVE or equivalent in a pressure type machine with a pressure between 20 to 40 psi (137.9 to 206.8 kPa).
Grit blast all the surfaces in Area A to remove the top layer of white ceramic to show the bond layer which is golden in color.
