General
This Repair must only be done when the instruction to do so is given in 72-41-21 Inspection/Check.
This Repair has been raised to repair the surface damage on the HP compressor inner to outer case sealing ring.
The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK number are in the SPM.

Refer to Figure.
The diameter of the repaired area is to be 50 times the depth of damage.
The maximum depth of the repaired areas is to be 0.005 in. (0.13 mm).
Refer to TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Remove small areas of damage as necessary.
Make the damaged areas smooth.
Polish the repaired area and the area made smooth. Make sure all the scratches are removed and the surface finish is the same as the adjacent material.

Polish the area.
