The application of IAE 265 is intended to provide an expedient and economical method for local airfoil coating touch-up repairs

NOTE

It may be used only when there is no visual evidence of oxidation or corrosion degradation of base metal

NOTE

In no case shall the application of IAE 265 be used as a substitute for the primary coating systems during complete coating refurbishment

    2. The proprietary nature of this repair requires that any facility not authorized to accomplish this repair either utilize the Authorized Repair Vendors listed below or contact the IAE Repair Development Group to determine if a qualification program can be initiated at their facility
