Fit a suitable cover to the tube to be tested.
Connect the hydraulic pressure test rig to the tube adapter.
Open the bleed valve and apply a minimal hydraulic pressure to bleed the air from the tube. Close the bleed valve when you see a fluid flow free of air.
Gradually apply a hydraulic pressure as specified in Step
Maintain the pressure for a minimum of two minutes and examine the tube for signs of leakage, particularly at any swaged, brazed, welded or repaired areas.
Isolate the hydraulic supply, release the pressure and remove the test equipment from the tube.
