Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-60-21-350-062 Remove the Damaged Pins from the Main Gearbox Casing

    2. Refer to Figure.

      1. Drill out carefully the damaged pins from the casing.

        1. Use hand drill.

        2. Do not remove parent material.

    1. SUBTASK 72-60-21-350-063 Examine the Main Gearbox Casing for Cracks

      1. Inspect the gearbox casing for cracks in the area of the hole.

      2. Use a magnifying glass.

    1. SUBTASK 72-60-21-350-064 Install the New Pins

    2. Refer to Figure.

    3. Verify that tight fit exists between the outer diameter of the new pins and the corresponding holes in the gearbox casing.

    4. Install the new pins.
