TASK 72-61-49-100-101 Gearbox Breather Outlet Oil Duct - Clean, Cleaning-001
General
This TASK gives the procedure to clean the gearbox breather outlet duct (01- 010).
Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, GOGGLES AND A FACE MASK WHEN YOU USE THIS CLEANING AGENT. DO NOT GET THE CLEANING AGENT ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. USE THE CLEANING AGENT IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT BREATHE THE VAPORS. IF YOU GET THE CLEANING AGENT ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES FLUSH IT AWAY WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL HELP IT YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
WARNING
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE COMPRESSED AIR. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND GOGGLES. MAKE SURE THAT ALL PERSONS ARE AT A SAFE DISTANCE.Remove any adhesive marking tape from the duct.
Flush the duct with cleaning agent.
Clean the internal surface of the duct.
Wipe the external surface of the duct.
Make sure all dirt and unwanted material is removed from the ends of the duct. Do not touch the seal faces after cleaning.
Clean the end fittings of the duct.
Use clean dry compressed air.
Remove the cleaning agent and make the duct dry.
