This TASK gives the procedure to clean the remaining parts of the breather gearbox outlet duct.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 72-61-49-110-054 Clean the Components

      1. WARNING

        DO NOT GET THE CLEANING AGENT ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A FACE MASK WHEN YOU USE THIS CLEANING AGENT. USE THE CLEANING AGENT IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT BREATHE THE VAPOURS. IF YOU GET THE CLEANING AGENT ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES FLUSH IT AWAY WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.

        Wipe all the areas of the components.

      2. Remove the contamination from the components.

      2. Dry the components.

      2. Remove the dirty cleaning agent from the components before they are dry.

      3. Clean around contours of the components.

      2. Remove all the contamination not removed in paragraph A above.

      4. Dry the components.
