General
This TASK gives the procedure to inspect the EEC PB inlet port.

Cut and discard the lockwire from the flexible hose connector.
Disconnect the flexible hose from the EEC.
Disconnect the flexible hose.
Cut and discard the lockwire from the union. Remove the union from the EEC sensor inlet port and discard the seal ring.
NOTE
Engines which have SBE 73-0185 or SBE 73-0186 or SBE 73- 0220 incorporated do not have a sensor screen.Pre SBE 73-0185 or Pre SBE 73-0186 or Pre SBE 73-0220 only: Use a 10X magnifying glass and a white light to visually examine the sensor screen. If you can see white powder contamination on the sensor screen, replace the EEC.
SBE 73-0185 or SBE 73-0186 or SBE 73-0220 only: No inspection is necessary. Go to the Step.
Examine the EEC burner pressure sensor inlet.
NOTE
Make sure that all the PB sense line pipes are connected correctly. Joints that leak let moisture into the lines and increase PB problems.Install a new seal ring on the union.
Install the union in the EEC PB inlet port with the external cone end toward the flexible hose.
Torque the union to between 168 and 181 lbf in (18.98 and 20.45 Nm).
Safety the union with CoMat 02-126 LOCKWIRE.
Install and connect the flexible hose connector to the union.
Torque the connector to between 142 and 150 lbf in (16.04 and 16.95 Nm).
Safety the union with CoMat 02-126 LOCKWIRE.
Install the union and the flexible hose.
