General

This TASK gives the procedure for the cleaning of the ACC rear duct assembly. For the other HP/LP ACC duct parts, refer to Cleaning - 000 TASK 75-24-47-100-100.

The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.

Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-47-110-053 Remove the Grease and Oil from the ACC Rear Duct

      1. Remove the grease and oil from the ACC rear duct assembly. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-03-300-503.

      1. Degrease Parts by Aqueous Cleaning.

    2. SUBTASK 75-24-47-110-067 Remove the Carbon and Scale from the ACC Rear Duct Assembly

      1. Remove the carbon and scale from the ACC rear duct assembly. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-06-300-503.

      1. One-Step Alkaline Rust Remover Cleaning for Titanium Parts Only.
