Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-48-350-145 Re-Shape the Turbine Cooling Manifold Assembly

      1. Lightly hit all around the concave side of any dent or deformed surface to smooth out.

      2. Use of small hammer permissible.

    1. SUBTASK 75-24-48-220-089 Examine the Turbine Cooling Manifold Assembly (02-500)

    2. Refer to Figure.

      1. Dimensionally check the tube at location 1 for distortion.

      2. Refer to Figure.

      3. Residual creases within 0.019 in (0.50 mm) contour tolerance in constrained are permitted.

      1. Dimensionally check the joint at location 2.

      2. Refer to Figure.

      3. Outer diameter should be within 3.079 in (78.206 mm).

      1. Dimensionally check the welded bracket at location 3.

      2. Dimension should be within the limit specified in Figure.

      1. Dimensionally check the pin and support at location 4.

      2. Refer to Figure.

      1. Do the test for cracks.

      2. Refer to SPM TASK 70-23-05-230-501.

      3. No cracks are permitted.
