Use honing stone or CoMat 05-019 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE waterproof silicon carbide abrasive paper, CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE waterproof silicon carbide abrasive paper and CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE waterproof abrasive paper, and/or fine file to remove high metal.
Surface finish of the repair must be the same as the adjacent area.

CAUTION
TITANIUM COMPONENTS.1. SILICON CARBIDE TYPE WHEELS, STONES AND ABRASIVE PAPERS ARE TO BE USED FOR THIS REPAIR.2. ALUMINUM OXIDE MUST NOT BE USED.3. THE MATERIAL WILL OXIDIZE THE CRACK IF MECHANICAL CUTTERS ARE USED HEAVILY. THIS HAS OCCURRED IF THE COMPONENT SHOWS DARK STRAW TO BLUE DISCOLORATION.Make smooth and/or hand polish to remove the high metal from the worn edge corners of the slots. Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
