TASK 78-32-77-100-301 Right C-Duct Electrical Harness - Clean The Harness, Cleaning-001
General
This TASK gives the procedure to clean the right C-duct electrical harness.
The practices and processes referred to in the procedure by the TASK numbers are in the SPM.
Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.
To identify the consumable materials refer to the PCI.

Use CoMat 02-020 CLEANING PADS waterproof silicon carbide abrasive paper.
If unusually dirty, use CoMat 01-124 ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL first.
Clean the connector contacts
Use the CoMat 02-020 CLEANING PADS.
If unusually dirty, use CoMat 01-124 ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL first.
Clean each wire bundle
If unusually dirty, use CoMat 02-175 BRUSH with the CoMat 01-124 ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL first.
Clean the connector front insert, contacts and the connector threads
Remove the dry residue with dry compressed air.
Clean the terminal lugs
Air-dry for three hours.
In the clean, dry environment.
Dry the harness
Use low temperature oven at 250 deg F (121 deg C) for three hours.
Dry the unusually wet harness
Air-cool to room temperature.
Cool the harness
Refer to Inspection-000 TASK 78-32-77-200-300.
Do the inspection

DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR TOOLS TO CLEAN THE CONNECTORS OR THE CONTACTS OF THE HARNESS. PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTORS OR THE MATING CONNECTORS MAY RESULT.
