General
Fig/item numbers in parentheses in the procedure agree with those used in the IPC. Only the primary Fig/item numbers are used. For the service bulletin alpha variants refer to the IPC.
Remove and discard the lockwire before parts are disconnected or removed.
Discard all packings removed in this procedure. Keep all parts in a plastic bag in the waiting period.
Special tools are identified in the procedure by the tool primary number.

Install IAE 1F10320 Support stud to IAE 1F10319 Clamping fixture and position on the bench.
Install the oil pressure pump to the IAE 1F10319 Clamping fixture with the drive gear pump side up.
Install IAE 1F10312 Adapter wrench to the drive gear pump.
Hold the oil pump drive gear and remove the nut and the washer which attach the drive gear to the hub.
Remove the oil pump drive gear from the hub. Use IAE 1F10314 Puller .
Release and remove the four bolts and packings which attach the pump cover.
Remove the pump cover.
Remove the drive gear assembly from the casing.
Remove the driven gear from the casing.
Install IAE 1F10305 Support stud (short) to the IAE 1F10319 Clamping fixture .
Rotate the pump assembly with the drive gear side down.
Release and remove the six nuts and washers which attach the filter cover.
Remove the filter from the pump casing.
Release and remove the two bolts which attach the relief valve. Remove the valve. Use IAE 1F10318 Adapter with IAE 1F10310 Slide hammer .
Remove the nut from the trim valve.
Remove the bolt which attaches the trim valve flange to the pump casing. Remove the valve and the flange from the casing. Use IAE 1F10313 Adapter with the IAE 1F10310 Slide hammer. Remove and discard the packing.
Remove the strainer from the casing. Use IAE 1F10325 Drift Remove and discard the packing.
Release and remove the three bolts and washers which attach the anti drain valve. Use IAE 1F10326 Drift Remove the valve and discard the packing.
Remove the two nuts (01-662) and the union adapters. Discard the packings.
Remove the pump casing from the clamping fixture.
SUBTASK 79-21-41-060-051 Disassemble the Oil Pressure Pump
Install the filter cover assembly with the pressure priming valve up on suitable support bracket.
Remove the nut and the pressure priming valve. Remove and discard the packing.
Turn the filter cover assembly. Remove the nut and the washer.
Remove the ring, the spring and the special bolt.
Remove the filter cover from the support bracket.
SUBTASK 79-21-41-070-051 Disassemble the Filter Cover Assembly
Install the valve on IAE 1F10322 Base.
Remove the retaining ring from the valve casing.
Remove the ring, the spring and the valve from the casing. Remove and discard the packing.
Remove the anti drain valve casing from the base.
SUBTASK 79-21-41-070-052 Disassemble the Anti Drain Valve
Install the valve on IAE 1F10323 Base.
Remove the retaining ring, the ring, the spring and the valve from the casing. Remove and discard the packings.
Remove the relief valve casing from the base.
