This Repair gives the procedure for blending the ACOC inlet duct.

Maximum blend limit is 0.005 in. (0.12 mm) in depth.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Remove small area(s) of damage as necessary.
Remove sharp corners and edges.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Blend area(s) of repair
Polish repaired area to give a surface finish same as adjacent material.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Polish area(s) of repair
Use CoMat 01-275 CHROMATE CONVERSION COATING FOR ALUMINIUM for aluminum with brush or equivalent.
Refer to SPM TASK 70-35-03-300-501.
Apply a layer of chromate conversion coating on repaired area.
SUBTASK 79-21-42-350-051 Remove the Damage from the ACOC Inlet Duct (01-400)
Make sure all the repaired area have an equivalent surface finish as adjacent material.
Maximum blend limit must not be more than 0.005 in. (0.12 mm) to remove damage.
Do a visual inspection
