Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 79-21-49-790-051 Do the Leak Test on the Pressure Oil Tube Assembly

      1. The tubes (11-100 and 13-100) require special adapters on their tube end to connect to a dry compressed air supply. IAE 2J13307 Adapter for tube (11-100) and IAE 2J13308 Adapter for tube (13-100). Other tubes (10-100 and 12-100) do not require a special adapter.

      2. Attach special adapter to the tubes.

      3. Connect a dry compressed air supply to the tube.

      4. Put the tube in to a tank of water and pressurize to 14.5 psi (100 KPa).

      5. Hold the pressure for a minimum of one minute while you examine the tube for signs of leakage, specially at swaged, brazed welded or repaired areas.

      6. Isolate the air supply, release the pressure and remove the tube from the tank.

      7. Dry the tube with dry warm air.

    1. SUBTASK 79-21-49-550-052 Store the Pressure Oil Tube Assembly

    2. Put applicable covers on all openings of the tube and keep it in a clean container to prevent contamination.
