Use CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE abrasive paper and CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE, and/or fine file.
Surface finish of the repaired area must be the same as the adjacent area.

WARNING
TITANIUM COMPONENTSSILICON CARBIDE TYPE WHEELS, STONES AND ABRASIVE PAPERS ARE TO BE USED FOR THIS REPAIR.ALUMINIUM OXIDE MUST NOT BE USED.THE MATERIAL WILL OXIDE AND CRACK IF MECHANICAL CUTTERS ARE USED HEAVILY. THIS HAS OCCURED IF THE COMPONENT SHOWS DARK STRAW TO BLUE DISCOLORATION.Make smooth and/or hand polish to remove the nicks, galls and/or scores.

Visually examine the repaired area for nicks, galls, scores and/or pick-up using 10X magnifying glass.

Make sure there are no cracks in the repaired area.
Fluorescent penetrant examine the repaired area.
