Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 79-22-43-790-051 Do a Leak Test on the Scavenge Oil Filter Housing Assembly

      1. Blank all the ports as follows:

      1. Install a suitable blanking cover on the oil inlet.

      2. Install a suitable blanking cover on the oil outlet.

    2. Connect the Dry compressed air supply tube to the blanking cover fixture on the blanking cover.

    3. Put the oil scavenge oil filter in to a tank of water and pressurize to 42.6 psi (294 KPa).

    4. Hold the pressure for a minimum of one minute.

    5. Make sure that the scavenge oil filter has no leaks. If the scavenge oil filter has leaks, reject.

    6. Decrease the pressure in the scavenge oil filter to zero, and remove the air supply tube.

    7. Dry the scavenge oil filter with dry air and remove the blanks cover and the packing.
