Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 79-22-49-790-051 Do the Leak Test on the Scavenge Oil Tube Assembly

    2. Connect a Dry compressed air supply to the tube.

    3. Put the tube into a tank of water and pressurize to 14.5 psi (100 KPa).

    4. Hold the pressure for a minimum of one minute while you examine the tube for signs of leakage, specially at swaged, brazed, welded or repaired areas.

    5. Isolate the air supply, release the pressure and remove the tube from the tank.

    6. Dry the tube with dry warm air.

    2. Put applicable covers on all openings of the tube and keep it in a clean container to prevent contamination.
