This TASK gives the procedure to clean the scavenge oil tubes.

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 79-22-49-110-052 Clean the Tube

    2. Remove any adhesive marking tape from the tube.

      1. Clean the internal surface of the tube. Flush the tube with the cleaning agent.

      1. Wipe the external surface of the tube.

      1. Clean the end fittings of the tube. Make sure all dirt and unwanted material is removed from the threads and the nut retaining ring. Do not touch the seal faces after cleaning.

      1. Remove the cleaning agent and make the tube dry.

      2. Use clean dry compressed air.
