Use hand held pneumatic grinder and CoMat 05-021 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE to remove damage.
NOTE
The blend ratio, length to depth, must be a minimum of 20:1. Refer to Figure.Keep the material removal to the minimum necessary, to remove damage.The surface texture of all repaired surfaces must have the same, or better, quality to that of the adjacent not damaged area.Blend to remove the nicks and scores.
Use CoMat 05-020 WATERPROOF SILICON CARBIDE to make the blended surface as smooth as the initial surface.
Polish the blended area.
