THE ILLUSTRATED PARTS DATA (IPD) IS DESIGNED TO ASSIST OPERATORS OF INTERNATIONAL AERO ENGINES PRODUCTS AND THEIR MAINTENANCE CONTRACTORS IN IDENTIFICATION AND REQUISITION OF REPLACEABLE PARTS AND UNITS. THE SERVICE BULLETIN, REPAIR SCHEME AND/OR ENGINE MANUAL ARE THE AUTHORITATIVE DOCUMENTS ON OVERHAUL AND REPAIR PROCEDURES. SERVICE BULLETINS AND REPAIR SCHEMES ARE THE ONLY DOCUMENTS USED TO NOTIFY THE OPERATORS OF CHANGES TO THE EFFECTIVITY OF PARTS. WHERE ADDITIONAL PARTS ARE INTRODUCED TO, OR EXISTING PARTS ARE DELETED FROM, AN ENGINE BY A SERVICE BULLETIN OR REPAIR SCHEME, THE RELEVANT SERVICE BULLETIN OR REPAIR SCHEME IS THE AUTHORITATIVE DOCUMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF EFFECTIVITY.
