TASK 70-38-15-380-501 The Application Of CoMat 10-031 Antigalling Compound

General

This TASK and the use of CoMat 10-031 ANTI-GALLING COMPOUND is now deleted. Formerly this TASK gave instructions to apply CoMat 10-031 ANTI-GALLING COMPOUND.

Use (non-leaded) CoMat 10-130 ANTIGALLING COMPOUND when (leaded) CoMat 10-031 ANTI-GALLING COMPOUND is specified for threaded fastener and mating faces applications. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-39-380-501 for the application of CoMat 10-130 ANTIGALLING COMPOUND.

Use (non-leaded) CoMat 10-129 ANTI-SEIZE PASTE when the non-baked on (wet) antiseize application is specified for threaded fastener and mating faces applications. Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-38-380-501 for the application of (non-leaded) CoMat 10-129 ANTI-SEIZE PASTE.

NOTE

Mating face applications require IAE Engineering review before approval for use.
