Description

  1. TASK 70-43-00-400-501 The Connection Of Electrical Plugs During Engine Maintenance

    1. General

      1. This TASK gives the general procedure for the connection of electrical plugs during the maintenance of the engine.

        1. If an electrical plug is installed incorrectly it can cause moisture to go in to the plug or mating connection.

        2. This can cause incorrect electrical signals or failure of the applicable circuits.

        3. Obey the procedure given in the SPM TASK 70-43-01-400-501; this will prevent incorrect connection of the plugs.

        4. Do not remove the protective caps(s) until immediately before you connect the plug to the mating connection.
