Refer to TASK 71-21-11-100-000 (CLEANING-000).
Remove the dry film lubricant.
SUBTASK 71-21-11-110-061 Remove the Dry Film Lubricant
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
Apply the masking tape to the area which is not to be given a layer of the dry film lubricant.
Apply the masking tape.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-12-02-120-501.
Use an air pressure of 40 psi (275 Kpa).
Use Dry Blast Equipment 1 off.
Abrasive blast.
SUBTASK 71-21-11-120-054 Abrasive Blast the Thrust Mount Bracket
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
The thickness of the dry film lubricant is to be 0.00012 to 0.00059in. (0.003 to 0.015 mm).
Use Dry film lubricant spraying equipment 1 off.
Apply the dry film lubricant.
Bake in Oven 1 off, for two hours between 365 and 383 deg F (185 and 195 deg C).
Heat the thrust mount bracket assembly.
Refer to the SPM TASK 70-38-03-380-501.
Examine the layer of the dry film lubricant.
