This TASK gives the procedure for the cleaning of the EEC fan harness (Pre SBE 71-0288) or the EEC fan and ignition supply harness assembly (SBE 71 - 0288). For other parts refer to Cleaning-000 TASK 71-51-41-100-300 and the Component Maintenance Manual - Miscellaneous Mechanical Components (CMM-MECH-V2500-3IA), Cleaning-000 (TASK 71-51-41-100-400).

Procedure

    1. SUBTASK 71-51-41-110-052 Chemically Clean the EEC Fan Harness (Pre SBE 71-0288) or the EEC Fan and Ignition Supply Harness Assembly (SBE 71-0288)

    1. WARNING

      DO NOT GET CLEANING AGENT ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, GOGGLES AND A FACE MASK. USE THE FLUID IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT BREATHE THE VAPOR. IF YOU GET THE CLEANING FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES, FLUSH IT AWAY WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.

      Clean the harness cable and its connectors. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11-26-300-503.
